He has helped develop educational programs related to physician stress management and offered wellness consultations to leadership in major American corporations. Dr. Demaria has delivered over several hundred professional research presentations and co-authored 24 professional publications including clinical guidance documents on bereavement and disasters for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Demaria assists Dr. David Schonfeld with the coordination of Coalition to Support Grieving Students initiative for the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement’s and provides consultation to schools dealing with crisis and loss. Dr. Demaria has earned numerous awards for his participation in several hundred local and national community and school crisis responses. During the pandemic\, Dr. Demaria provided numerous workshops for front-line health care staff\, local businesses and school districts. Dr. Demaria continues to support schools and communities with the support of the Brave of Heart Foundation.
