DESCRIPTION:Despite a tremendous public health effort\, SIDS remains the number 1 killer of infants beyond the first month of life. Recent scientific discoveries have brought new hope that some SIDS deaths can be prevented. Dr. Chang will discuss his research on SIDS prevention at LA BioMed in the last 10 years. \nDr. Chang is a pediatric cardiologist studying new technologies that can be developed to help prevent poor outcomes in newborns with heart disease.
