Overview
This interactive CME accredited activity is designed for the entire CF treatment team. The activity features a live interview with a CF patient, case studies and open discussion. The activity is designed to address evidence-based treatment approaches and progress in the management of chronic airway infection in cystic fibrosis.

Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this activity, participants will be able to:
- Facilitate the transition to adult patient care by providing age-appropriate, targeted evaluation, education, and care.
- Use every patient and family interaction as an opportunity to reinforce instruction pertaining to infection prevention and control.
- Select aerosolized antibiotics with proven long-term efficacy and safety in patients with chronic airway infection.
- Assess patient response to treatment by monitoring pulmonary function, clinical symptoms, and microbial response.
- Employ a multidisciplinary, patient-engaged strategy to augment understanding of and commitment to the treatment plan.
- Compare and contrast the possible treatment options for the presented patient case
