This four-lecture series is recommended for primary care pediatricians and family medicine physicians. Each session will have a duration of approximately 90 minutes (Lecture plus case-based discussion). 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) per session.

This is the second session of the Four-Series Lectures. In this session, Dr. Schickedanz will present Childhood Adversity, Health Systems Change, and the Future of Trauma-Informed Pediatric Practice. (Lecture/Case presentation and discussion/Breakouts).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the session, learners will be able to…
1. Describe the most common barriers reported by clinicians to identifying and addressing adverse childhood experiences.
2. Examine health system barriers to identifying and addressing adverse childhood experiences in their own practices.
3. Consider key domains of health system and individual practice readiness to identify and address adverse childhood experiences.
